Day 3(Path)
Year 2
For this one I was really stuck because there are so many ways to draw the word Path because path has different meanings to it . But I ultimately decided to draw a Stone path after some inspiration on Pintrest
This time I managed to get the result I had planned.
I made a second attempt at drawing a magic tree. There is much more detail in this illustration. I'm satisfied.
It was a great opportunity to develop my drawing skills.
I did it, I have always wanted to participate in nktober but I always never finished it and this year I finally finished it. Each day was a challenge especially in the beginning but it definitely taught me as an artist what i like and dont like and what i need to work on.
I'm proud of me.
For the new year I am doing the 365 challenge drawing SOMETHING EVERYDAY but on day 3. I wanted to do something with paint and tape but it did not come out the way I wanted but that's what happens when trying something new.
attempt at free hand drawing with no sketch just lines, it looks so weird to me hehe. anyways its jimin and i had to figure out how to make his face look good in it as well as add details.
Class assignment: draw a crowd with layers and overlapping. I took this class because it is my artist heart's desire to capture people in real life action. We did learn a technique for that, but we did it from video. It was so stressful, and I'm considering practicing that 10 min a day for Lent. This one was a compilation from photos my teacher provided. What are your tips for capturing people in action? For me, the challenge was deciding what the action was. I kept changing the action as I saw it because it is SO FAST. I felt like I couldn't "see" fast enough.
Face homework. This was following a couple of super uncomfortable hours trying to draw people moving in videos, which was such a struggle for me (and my deepest art desire right now!).
The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say!
